George Sernack - Chief Instructor

George has been training in the martial arts for over 25 years. He holds a 5th degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do, a 4th degree black belt in Hapkido, and has an extensive background in kickboxing. He also trains with world renowned no rules fighter, Renzo Gracie. With 14 years of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu training he holds a BLACK BELT under Renzo as well as numerous titles in both standup and grappling arts. Some of George's achievements include:

Alex Bruzzese - Assistant Instructor

Alex has been training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for over 3 years, and holds the rank of a purple belt. He also trains kickboxing under Reggie Goode, and already has a 2-0 kickboxing record. He is looking forward towards his next fight, and is currently 2-1 in the amateur MMA circuit. One of his true passions is teaching and passing on his knowledge through the BJJ and kickboxing classes he teaches here.

Chris Civello - Assistant Instructor

Chris Civello, pictured here, is an assistant instructor at Real World Martial Arts. He holds a brown belt in Tae Kwon Do and a purple belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Chris has also trained in Muay Thai, and Savate. He is an active competitor in BJJ tournaments and is currently 1-0 in Amature MMA. "I love to give the students here at Real World Martial Arts the same attention and care that has been shown to me by my teacher and good friend George Sernack. George and his learning environment have changed me into a better version of myself. I only hope to be able to pass that on to future generations of Jiu Jitsu practitioners."

Reggie Goode - Adv. Kickboxing Instructor

Reggie Goode holds an 8 th degree black belt, and has been training in various stand up martial arts his whole life, including judo, karate, kickboxing, muy-thai, boxing, and more. He teaches our advanced kickboxing class here, and has trained many great fighters. Many of which include some of our students here on our fight team. His titles include:

·          All American Middleweight Kickboxing Champ

·          Three-time Fu Jom Pai Kickboxing Champ

·          World Wide Kickboxing Association World Super Middleweight Champ

Ioannis Hronakis ("H") - No-Gi Instructor

Ioannis (pronounced "Yanni" but known as H) has been training in the martial arts with George Sernack since the age of 8 when George opened his first Martial Arts school. Through his training he has earned a 4th degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do, and a black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. He has been teaching both children and adult classes in George's schools for the past 8 years, and takes great pride in helping students reach their full potential. You can find Yanni teaching the Friday No Gi class, as well as at his own academy in Wayne, NJ .

Garrett Goldsberry - MMA Instructor

 As a competitor Garrett has medaled on State, National, and Junior Olympic levels. In addition his students have competed with much success in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu/ Submission Grappling competitions. Through his training he has earned a 2nd degree black belt in Karate Do, a 1st degree black belt in Kobudo under Renshi Gene Corbo, and is currently a purple belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under George Sernack (Renzo Gracie Black belt). Garrett started his martial arts training at the age of 5 years old in Okinawan Shorin Ryu Shorikan. Garrett has since expanded his training to other arts such as Muay Thai, Akido, and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
