This month's issue of Gracie Mag is a must see! On page 72, Andy and Mike Main are featured in the Homegrown section, along with George Sernack! You can click on the image of the page below, or read the following to find out what they said about us:
"George Sernack, leader of Renzo Gracie Denville and GMA member in New Jersey didn't think twice when he recieved the email from the GMA asking for him to introduce the up-and-coming talent at his gym. In the world of martial arts for the last 25 years and in Jiu-Jitsu for 10, brown belt Sernack has a good eye for future promise. And he pointed out two brothers right away: "The two are from here in New Jersey, the town of Rockaway. Andy Main is the elder, at 19. He started training in 2006 and is now a purple belt. Andy demonstrates great balance between his standing and ground game. He thinks quick and is always looking to improve his positions and finish. His objective is to fight MMA," says George. Andy's results prove is quality. The youth has already won several NAGA and Grapplers Quest events, besides silver at the 2008 Pan-American.
Two years his younger, Mike Main, 17, started training at the same time as his brother. Now he's a blue belt. George spares no praise for the youngest: "He has an unorthodox Jiu-Jitsu style, which makes him virtually impossible to submit. His guard is extremely active and he has improved his takedowns a lot and controls game from the top. Mike recently made it onto his school's wrestling team and was immediately put on the varsity team. In competition, his greatest title was gold at the last No-Gi Pan. Mike is also thinking of fighting in MMA." To find out more, rwmma.com."
